The General Company for Iraqi Ports announced its direct assignment by the Ministry of Transport to set up a container terminal at the port of Faw.
The director of media and relations company Enmar Al-Safi told Al-Marbad radio that the Minister of Transport Kazem Al-Hamami assigned the General Company of Iraqi Ports to start the construction of a container terminal in section 9 of the port of Faw.
He explained that this mandate is part of the Minister's plan to accelerate the process of building the port through the division of work in its joints to create a spirit of competition between companies in the process of completing the project with less time and better quality.
